A deformation of vernacular architecture based on the Mediterranean patio archetype. The central patio serves as the heart of the house, with ocean views toward Africa.

The design responds to the levante wind with a sealed envelope on the southwest orientation and decreasing porosity toward the northwest. The roof is molded to wind flow, opening and closing like a fan for protection.

The program includes 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, dressing room, study, living room, kitchen/dining, and garage/cellar — all arranged around the central patio void. Cross-ventilation, the Andalusian patio’s natural coolness, and awnings provide comfort.

Materials follow a dual logic: stone masonry for the base and mass, wood for the light roof structure. Interior habitable niches serve as structural cores.
